Sustainable Development

by K. T. Weaver, SkyVision Solutions, Page Reviewed and Updated, December 2020

Due to the General Election of 2020 it appears that the “technocrats” will once gain control of the United States government, and thus this webpage, originally created in 2013, will again be even more relevant.

After considerable review, SkyVision Solutions has concluded that the implementation of a smart grid system (as currently envisioned) is supportive of the objectives of United Nations Agenda 21 and what is called “Sustainable Development.”  Sustainable Development is sometimes referred to as “Sustainability” and may also be abbreviated as SD21.  In fact, in the table shown below which was extracted from a United Nations document dated May 2012, specific references to smart metering and smart grids are mentioned as part of the course necessary to achieve a “culture of sustainability.”

Urban Sustainability

If you are new to the topic of Agenda 21, it is recommended that you research the topic in order to confirm the following:

  1. Agenda 21 is a real “agenda” to change the world as we know it, not some wild conspiracy theory.  Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development-related documentation is widely available from United Nations web links and through supporting organizations, such as the ICLEI USA.  See for example the following link:  http://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/index.php?page=view&nr=23&type=400&menu=35.
  1. Principles and priorities associated with Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development are generally incompatible with the founding documents of the United States which emphasize individual rights, liberty, property ownership, and limited government.

Agenda 21 vs Bill of Rights

  1. In your local community, there may be individuals or Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) attempting to implement Agenda 21 using more familiar, warm and fuzzy names, such as smart growth, sustainable communities, open spaces, multi-use dwellings, greenways, historic preservation, and walkable communities.  Each such initiative would need to be researched by concerned citizens to determine who is behind the initiative and to confirm the actual motives of the initiative.  If local initiatives are being proposed that infringe upon personal property rights, attempt to implement agendas related to social or environmental justice, then it is likely that those initiatives are related to Agenda 21 implementation and should be vigorously opposed.
  1. For a perspective on how people within the United Nations view Sustainable Development, please read the information that has been prepared on the webpage entitled, “Sustainable Development:  Transforming the World (for Better or Worse?).”  You will realize that Sustainability is designed to address social and radical political agendas much more than it has anything to do with “saving the environment.”  Refer to the following link:  http://skyvisionsolutions.org/agenda-21-and-sustainability/sustainable-development-transforming-the-world/.

Agenda 21 and full implementation of Sustainable Development would destroy the current way of life in the United States.  All citizens who value freedom and liberty should learn more about Agenda 21 and should oppose any and all actions or mechanisms which support its implementation.  Below are videos that should help inform you of the threat that Agenda 21 poses to the rights of life, liberty, private property ownership, and the pursuit of happiness.

Agenda 21: How Will It Affect You?

A clean environment is important to us all.  We have an obligation to maintain our resources and sustain our environment for future generations.  Sustaining our environment has led us down the road to environmentalism.  Then a strange thing happened.  Environmentalism came to a fork in the road.  While the rhetoric took one route, the agenda took another.  Explore this topic and discover how Agenda 21 will affect you.  The following video was produced through the efforts of the John Birch Society.
